On Tuesday 14th November 2023, David Archer 'OGGA' went to work and never returned home to his Fiance and 2 Children following a tragic accident on the site he was working on,.

OGGA was a devoted family man, not only to his Fiance Rachel, His 2 children Jack and Poppy, but to all those around him, His siblings, his parents and all his closest friends including their children.

In March 2024 Rachel met with Luke Shaw of United Families UK and Tracey Carr of Talk it Out Deal, to discuss the idea of a support group for childrena and families who have suffered the loss of 1 or both parents.

Rachel accepted the offer from United Families UK to work alongside them, providing Advice, Support and Guidance to us whilst we learnt and grew as a team.

The BRAVE support group launched in September 2024 and is held on the last Thursday of each month at the moment, already 7 groups in, the group has grown each time, with more families reaching out accross the county, 

2025 is a huge year for us all, with us aiming to become a fully registered charity in our own right, enabling us to do more, reach out further and secure funding for further development.
